Restaurant Fissauer Faehrhaus in Eutin

I know it from the past as a good restaurant. But often slow service. Nice view of the lake. However, found closed several times in summer 2020.

Last day before closing you don't have to be unfriendly or puffy to the guests if something doesn't work out with the kitchen! Were there once! Not again!!!

It was great and is highly recommended! The food was really delicious and the price / performance ratio was right. The staff was very friendly. Since there were no other guests when we arrived, we had a free choice of seats and thus had a magnificent view of the Kellersee for free. We'd love to come back!

We would have liked to go out to eat .......... on Saturday we were in the restaurant at 8:00 p.m. sharp and we were told there was no more food. The kitchen closes at 8:00 p.m. Okay, we didn't know that. But we were offered to reserve for Sunday (the following day). We did that for 7:00 p.m. So we are on our way for the second time and were there at 7:00 p.m. And? A huge red sign is beaming towards us: "CLOSED SOCIETY" the door was locked. So we do a U-turn and make us disappointed on the way home. The boss obviously runs into us, he came from the side exit of the restaurant. Asked about it, he shrugged and said they'd already accepted. Great cinema ............ We won't be back a third time. It's a shame actually.

Duck and red cabbage super delicious. Service very friendly. Thank you very much for the nice evening. We will be back.

We were really looking forward to half the duck, but unfortunately we were disappointed ... The duck was dry, the red cabbage was indefinable. Seemed like warmed up for days and gray I d color. The chestnut mousse didn't fit either. Red cabbage should be child's play for every cook in SH, and fresh please, no frozen goods please. The potatoes were made in the convection oven and were floating in the water in the bowl. I'm sorry, but according to the map, I was looking forward to something nicer. Unfortunately, it wasn't a party for us to be allowed to dine there ...

Small and fine. Located directly on the Kellersee, the Fährhaus impresses with its ambience and a large selection of fish dishes with a direct view of the lake. The pulled pork burger is also a culinary delight

Date: Saturday August 1st - Place: Fissauer Fährhaus - Time when entering the upper terrace: 15.36 - Time when sitting at a table: 15.37 - At the top of the stairs: a board with the text: upper terrace closed from 4 p.m. There was already a group of 8 or 10 people on the upper terrace. At 3:45 pm this group got their drinks and we and some other people (2 and maybe 6) who were about to enter the upper terrace were yelled at that there was no service on the upper terrace. And the lady was gone and no longer listened to remarks. Rude, rude and disrespectful, that was really incredulous. Probably already forgotten the Corona period in which you couldn't earn anything because closed.

Very good hygiene concept. The location directly on the Kellersee is simply sensational. In the afternoons there are delicious homemade cakes and sheet cakes. The warm kitchen offers something for every taste in very good quality and includes regional products. The staff is friendly. Can be recommended without reservation.

The food was unfortunately really not tasty (e.g. partly over-spiced). The soup was clearly from the microwave. The sausage pieces have seen better days ... The dishes had water stains. The cake was good though. If the food hadn't been "slammed" so carelessly, it might only have been half as bad.

We went there to eat with 3 people. All dishes were fresh, well presented and very tasty. The hygiene concept is good. The staff very nice and accommodating. The location of the restaurant with the view is very nice. Highly recommended 👍

We stopped there on Sunday afternoon. The hygiene concept is well thought out. The terrace was large and the tables were set up at a great distance. We sat outside when the weather was nice. The food ordered was delicious and plentiful. We had cold sour meat (neck) with fried potatoes and a large salad and veal schnitzel, also with fried potatoes and cucumber salad. We will be happy to come back.

Great location, right on the lake. Nice as a restaurant. Coffee and cake always fresh.

Underground, the operation looked annoyed and listless. The pikeperch was salted and fried dead, the vegetables in particular the sugar snap peas were black, ergo no roasted aromas but carcinogenic. Never again

We had on the terrace with lake view a great lunch / afternoon enjoyed. The food was really good and above all fine in the taste prepared. The cook understands his / her craft. The prices are, especially in relation to the quality, moderate and perfectly adequate. The service was really first class. For children, almost all dishes are also offered as a children's dish, which I find really good and also like to pay a bit more. I really only recommend the ferry house.

Whether Tafelspitz, Hirschrahmgulasch, schnitzel, fish and pumpkin soup or desserts. All dishes can be recommended without exception. In addition, all dishes were also great. The coffee specialties such as cappuccino did not taste at all. The condition was friendly and the food did not have to wait long. The ambience was a bit cool and not very stylish and comfortable. The view directly on the Kellersee, however, is fabulous.
